Daniel Farr brings over 17 years of specialized experience in criminal, cyber, fraud, and counterintelligence investigations, having served as a Special Agent with the United States Air Force Office of Special Investigations and as a digital forensic expert for an eDiscovery provider. His extensive background in leadership, cyber operations, and data breach analysis, combined with his expertise in digital forensics tools such as Axiom, FTK, EnCase, and Cellebrite, makes him an invaluable asset to the Veracity Forensics team.

Daniel Farr joined the United States Air Force in 2002 following the 9/11 attacks. Between multiple deployments, he earned a Bachelor’s in Engineering Management with a minor in Software Engineering. In 2009, he became a U.S. Federal Agent with the Air Force Office of Special Investigations (OSI), initially leading investigations on narcotics and child exploitation in Seattle, WA. In 2011, he moved to Germany to join OSI’s cyber intrusion team, collaborating with European and African allies to secure networks against foreign threats.

In 2016, Farr established and led a new Digital Forensic division in Germany, which supported investigations across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. His efforts led to a 200% increase in analysts and set new operational standards for the Air Force. In 2019, he took over an OSI forensic lab in San Antonio, TX, earned a Master’s in Digital Forensic Science, and developed procedures to maintain forensic integrity during the COVID-19 pandemic. After retiring from federal service in 2022, Farr joined an eDiscovery vendor before becoming Director of Forensic Services at Veracity Forensics in 2024.
